Head of Marketing: Footwear Division – Global Fashion Brand
c. £70k + 30% bonus + car allowance of £7k
Check out this fantastic role for a multinational, fashion savvy footwear company that took its first steps in 1932. The organisation has a phenomenal 1500 employees working on a global basis. The brand culture is vastly people-centred and this is mirrored within the exciting working environment.
It is essential that our candidate has solid marketing experience gained within a fashion OR retail OR fmcg environment alongside a strong understanding of the UK retail industry, including an understanding of buyer segmentation and habits.
What is crucial is that you have brilliant Leadership skills and are able to give strategic direction & guidance to your support team of four marketers, including PR. Experience within a range of media including digital, online, offline and guerrilla marketing is required. You will have a track record in project management and delivering these on time whilst on budget, alongside juggling with different tasks across a portfolio of various stand-alone, big-ticket brands. You will be leading a team who will generate catalogues, marketing manuals, range presenters and all brand comms tools including print, digital and outdoor marketing activity. A degree in marketing or the relevant discipline is required.
The Opportunity
Key job accountabilities
1. To develop and understand strategic business objectives and the product-life cycle in order to align marketing activities accordingly. We hope you will unpack brand identities in your portfolio and send compelling messages to the consumer.
We will also value your skill at driving growth, while optimising business processes & taking waste out of the business
2. Proven leadership skills, and the ability to provide direction, ownership, support and development to a marketing team.
3. Manage and lead all PR activity, trade marketing, design, and digital marketing activity in collaboration with your marketing team.
4. Extensive experience of management and liaison of key partner relationships, contact building skills and relationships across commercial agencies key to development of promotional business
5. Manage all stakeholder relationships by planning and communicating effectively across brands, the Division and the Group.
6. Manage, co-ordinate and execute logistics for the seasonal product launches in line with brand needs and direction
7. Manage and execute International Trade Shows including all logistics surrounding the event (hotel arrangements, stand build, transport, catering, product samples, and tickets).
