She spent 12 years with BBC Current Affairs Radio and TV, producing R.4's The Food Programme, Radio 1 and presenting/reporting for BBC Breakfast Time.
Volleyball? Mary knows her dink from her spike. She was the face of C4's International Volleyball for three years.
She's also a double Honours graduate in French and Spanish.
